Brightbelly’s Sky Friend

Brightbelly the Space-Backpack bunny wanted to see Earth from above. He packed snacks and his tiny telescope and dreamed of a satellite robot that could orbit and be like a super-powered eye. He floated up in a pretend rocket made of pillows and noticed the sun felt warm on his ears. He remembered sunscreen is a shield against UV rays so his ears would not burn, so he dabbed on a strip before peeking out. Brightbelly breathed slowly; he knew his body needed oxygen to make energy for hopping and thinking, so he laughed when the pillow rocket wobble-made him breathe deep and calm. Using his telescope and gentle breathing, Brightbelly spotted a little silver satellite far away, waving like a robot friend. He felt brave and smart for protecting his ears, breathing steady, and finding a new friend in the sky. Brightbelly curled into his backpack, proud and ready to rest.
